“Live your life through color”

Sade began drawing at age fourteen. As a graduate of Architecture & Design Charter High School, she developed the skill throughout school by focusing on portraits, buildings, body composition and abstract shapes. Sade never considered revisiting the art until COVID. With everything shut down, she found a medium to express herself outside of dance or TV/Film. She began fine tuning shapes and playing with colors, textures and ideas that communicate a message- one open for interpretation. Sade became a certified art therapist and applied therapy techniques to her art work. Recently debuting her first art show “Passion Blues” featured at Spectacular Black Girl Art Show. She focused on healing and selected reference photos aligned with her theme- chronicling the ways healing is experienced through living. Sade’s hope is that her voice will help navigate conversations that may be challenging, enlightening and simple. View her art work here.
